SETTING A FITNESS GOAL

Commit to taking control of you health and body

We all want to look and feel great. It begins within. First you have to determine what it is that you want achieve.

– Do you want to lose weight?

– Tone up?

– Gain muscle?

– Get off medicines for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, even diabetes?

–  Lose your gut and have perky breast like teenage girls?

– Want a Beyonce botty and thighs?

– Flawless skin, hair, and nails?

Secondly, you have to make a commitment to yourself that you will achieve it. Of course, this means that you will have to invest into yourself. If you can take time out to chit chat with your girlfriends, worry about your boyfriend/husband/partner, go to work, take care of you kids, clean house, play taxi for kids, parents, friends without vehicles, have dinner and lunch dates with friends, go to happy hour, host a dinner party, go shopping for clothes that you really don’t want to wear because you can’t fit the clothes you want since your gut is bulging over in your shirt, pants, or dress. You can take the time to commit to yourself. You may ask yourself WHY? but the answer is simple:

YOU FREAKING DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!! ITS YOUR LIFE!!!!! COMMITT TO LIVING THE LIFE YOU WANT!!!!!!!!

Thirdly, decide what type of exercise regimen will interest you or will fit whatever you goal is. If you interested in losing weight, maybe good cardio program with a fun, inspiring coach, such as TurboJam or TurboFire with Chalene johnson. You might already be an exercise guru and want something challenging or you just want to build muscle with strength training, try P90XP90X2; with the rigourous Tony Horton, or enjoy a motivating, dig deeper, and a for the ladies a nice piece of eye candy with the gorgeous Shaun T doing Insanity and/or Insanity Asylum, or maybe Les Mills Pump with Les Mills. Don’t forget it isn’t just about being physical, you also have think about what your putting into your body. Clean, healthy, and foodgasmic (food that makes you feel so good, its like your mouth is having an orgasm!) eating is vital. Eating 3 small, healthy meals with 2 small snacks in between will keep you full. Just because you want to lose weight and tone up, doesn’t mean you should EVER STARVE YOURSELF! Lastly, find a coach, buddy, community that will hold you accountable, so you can hold yourself accountable, such as the BeachBody community. Its easy to say that I am going to do XYZ, but when you have a cheering section your more inclined to stay on the ride to the top! Find a person or group of people that share your same goal and that are already committed or plan on committing with you.
